Frontend / Admin UI Engineer
Build the admin dashboard for call monitoring, dialog management, and system configuration.
About the Role
As our first frontend hire, you will design and build the admin UI for voicetyped — a dashboard for monitoring active calls, managing dialog configurations, viewing call logs, and configuring the system. This is a greenfield project with significant design latitude.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build the admin dashboard from scratch
- Implement real-time call monitoring via SSE and WebSocket
- Build a dialog configuration editor (YAML-based FSM visualization)
- Create system health and metrics views (integrating with Prometheus data)
- Build call log search and audit trail interfaces
- Ensure the UI works in air-gapped deployments (no external CDN dependencies)
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of frontend development (React, Vue, or Svelte)
- Experience building dashboards and data-heavy UIs
- Comfort with real-time data (WebSockets, SSE)
- Strong CSS skills — we don’t use component frameworks
- Understanding of accessibility and responsive design
- Bonus: experience with graph/flow visualization libraries
- Bonus: familiarity with Go or ConnectRPC
